We're dead Sirius

Wednesday "morning", the doll Kristine came by my place and she just went to another friend's place today! We had looooooads of plans for her stay here, and we actually got around to doing almost all of it!
We chilled in the sun (the weather is amazinnnnnggg atm!) while playing Disney Trivial and found our knowledge in Monsters inc. to be filled with big ass holes. So we watched Monters Inc. which was surprisingly good (it's been about 8 years since I watched it the last time). Oh, and the sign has got the word "bøh" on it - which gets translated into Boo, the darling little human girl in the movie. We just saw it randomly, walking home from the...

... "Kræmmermarked" we went to - it's kind of like a flea market, just bigger (and better? nah, not really.) It's got a mini tivoli with a ferris wheel and all that. We didn't go up in any of the rides though, since they're mainly there for the children.

See? Kids Train. So not really a tivoli for adults/teenagers.
God, I was laughing because of that drawing. I didn't think I'd ever see Woody, Jessie and Buzz portrayed like that!

Kristine being awesome with her bff beard-guy.

We found a stall with all kinds of weird things. And when we saw a pair of Care Bears we just had to get them! BUDDY BEARS, haha.

We had planned to watch all the Harry Potter movies - since we're both hp nerds - but didn't really think we'd make it. But we actually did!
Between film 1 and 2 the actors had already grown soooo much, haha!

I got the part 1 combo pack during Kristine's stay here as well. I knew I would have watched it before she came if I'd gone and bought it. So when we were finished with film 6 we were pretty much feeling the excitement you can see on our lovely faces above.

I had so much fun with her!

Fleeing fashion

I actually did one more kind of big thing this weekend. I went to the fashion flea! It's a flea market that is held every fall and autumn during the fashion weeks in Copenhagen. I've never attended before and didn't really think it would be huge in any way - the home page said there would be about 100 stalls and that's not that humongous.
I didn't think there would come many people either. But as you can see there was a long queue when we (Rikke and I) arrived 10 minutes after the opening at 10 AM.

And it was very big on the inside! All the stall owners had brought so MUCH. I've never seen that many pre-owned shoes (didn't see any that fit my tastes though) or brand items. I saw the most beautiful Louis Vuitton jacket but it was still way too expensive, haha. Sad-making much.

I did buy some other sweet things though. A necklace, a tee and some pants. Aaaand I bought this baby pink trench coat! And it was 40 DKK only. Never used before, as far as I can tell! Luckyyy - since I've been wanting one of these for quite some time. It was originally a bit large around my chest and was 10 cm longer, but I just made a few alterations with the buttons etc. Now it looks so good compared to before.
I used under 100 DKK all in all. That is very well done, I'd say. Especially since the pants had cost over 1700 DKK and I got them for 15 kroner!

The coat has this super cute lining too! I'm very happy that I purchased this - now it just has to get a few degrees warmer so that I can wear it! It can probably keep me warm when it's about 5 degrees or so.

Don't just stand there!

I went to a flea marked with Hopy today! It was really nice seeing her and I had a great time. It's been o long since I went to a flea market - last time was in Japan!!! And when I usually go all the time, that's a huge gap between market visits. Hopy couldn't really remember when she'd last gone so it was about time for her, haha.
I thought this sign was cool and really fitting for flea markets. Buy something!! haha.

And so I did. My parents have been complaining about my lack of a proper autumn jacket and then I found this blue/black one I really liked ! And for the price of 40 DKK it was all mine.
I bought the sweater off a girlfriend's mom. They had a booth at the market so I ran into my friend, which was really nice. I hadn't seen her in months! I thought the sweater was nice. Can you believe it's from the 80ies?! Gosh, so old...

You find the most odd thing at flea markets. Like reindeer hairbands. Hopy is the wonderful model.

Later Yin came by to hang out. It was fantastic to just chill with her and talk. I've missed her a lot. She goes to my former high school and it's really wierd not seeing her almost every day.

Outfit of the day. My heels were compleately white from all the dusty stones at the flea market, haha! I'm going to clean them soon, I really can't wear them in their current shape.

Japan Tripping - Tokyo

Okay, sorry for picture spaaam but I just wanted to get out of Japan-entries.

I went to Tokyo Disneyland with my friend Morten, who was in Japan to see the WCS. We met up at Tokyo st. and took the subway to the park. It was much more fun than I had expected it to be and not as hot as I'd feared - though it didn't seem like Morten agreed with me on the latter.

We didn't get to try/see all the things we'd planned to, but that didn't really matter. We saw the two parades and I tried a lot of rollercoasters that I just did not want to try. Morten loves the scary ones so of course he dragged me with him on those - I was shaking like crazy at the end of the day because there had been so many nerve-wrecking coasters.

The evening parade was really something. I thought it a whole lot better than the one in Paris, but maybe that's just because I don't remember that one so clearly. All in all it was a great day and it was soooo nice to see another Dane.

My parents and I went up in the Tokyo Tower and stayed there from about 5 untill it was dark, to see how the city lit up. It was really interesting. It just didn't really look 13 meters taller than the Eiffel Tower, haha.

We also went to Ghibli! This was a trip I'd been looking forward to. I'd really tried to push my expectations down because I'd heard a lot of disappointment about the museum, and it worked! I came with no hopes and was amazed. It was really magical and inspiring.

As ticket to the museum you receive a piece of film from one of the Studio Ghibli films and I got Haku!!! Jesus, I was happy. I totally adore him and my parents got some boring ones.
I was really happy we went there.

Of course we also went to Tsukiji. It was kind of a bad experience because we felt like intruders at an important work-place so we went away quickly. But they had some crazy fish! That squid tentacle was as big as my dad's arm. Yikes!
I wanted to go to the Yoyogi Park flea marked and my parents tagged along. Turned out to be a great sight with about 300 stalls and ordinary japanese people. I got a lot of great things here - my parents had to tell meto stop buying things. It was also great that they, the Japanese, didn't discriminate just because we were foreigners - they told ud the same prices as they would have given their fellow countrymen.

I got my hair colored! It was my first time so I was scared that the color wouldn't be as I wanted it to be. And he actully fucked up. The color is so off the one I wanted. I wanted a caramel/orange color and it turned out reddish purple. I was sad at first but now I don't really care.

We watched the fireworks at Sumidagawa river the last night. It was SO crowded. We'd thought there were many people for the Gion Matsuri in Kyoto, but this was just crazy! It was like the whole of Tokyo crammed in one place. We also got to be pushed into trains when we went home, that's how many people were there.

Approximately 20.000 fireworks was displayed in 1.5 hours. And it wasn't bad fireworks at all. It was really impressive. Still can't beat New Year evening in 2000 here in Denmark though.

From the bus on our way to Narita. We were ready to go home.

... but that wasn't how it went. Our flight was cancelled so we had to take a different route home. Instead of 10 hours in a plane we spent 16 hours in two planes and 2 hours waiting for the second one. We were so tired when we finally reach Kastrup airport, only to find out that our baggage hadn't come with us from Rome. We got them 3 days later.

It's good to be home.

Examinating money

Time goes by very quickly. I haven't written anything here for days now. And I don't even go to school anymore - the free time for exam preparations have started. I'll have a Mathematics test tomorrow and later on I'll have verbal Art and AT examinations.

I am horribly in love with scarfs. I went shopping in vintage shops Friday and bought some old scarfs with neat prints. And then I went to a flea market with over 200 stands and found a lot of very sweet things - including 2 new scarfs. No, actually 3. So now I've got about 15 or something like that.

I have been searching for blazers for a while now. I don't want some in bad quality and I don't want all black ones + the ones I find are too expensive in my opinion ( I think 150-200 DKK is a lot). But then I found these two at the flea market!!! I LOVE THEM.
I have been sitting for hours on Ebay and the danish Trensales looking for jackets with army prints, but never really found some I loved. And then I found this and it was just my size. It cost me 40 DKK.
The denim blazer is kind of original in my opinion. You see denim jackets all around, but I haven't seen any blazers before. And it was 10 DKK.

New boots and a cap - 30 DKK.

Shopping at low cost!

I saw one of my best friends today. It's been quite some time since we last met up, so it was so great to see her again. I miss her so much - we went to school together a year ago (from 7th to 9th grade) and saw each other every day at that time.

We went to a flea market and I bought some stuff:

A floral short dress which I already love - 25 DKK
A pair of homey pants, real soft ! <3>

A comic that looked interesting, the films Love Actually, The Boy and the Iron Giant and Quest for Camelot - The Magic Sword. All things for 30 DKK.

My H&M tights I saw on Wednesday but decided not to buy because they were 70 DKK, and then saw them again yesterday for 10 DKK and bought them.

Urg, Oscars tomorrow! Navi (Avatar) tails making tonight and tomorrow 8D (we're going as Navi's in red carbet-clothes)
