#sakuraweekcph

Last week my mum took me to see the cherry blossoms in full bloom at Bispebjerg Kirkegård (cemetery). They have caused an uproar on social medie, mostly instagram, under the tag #sakuraweekcph. It's exploded! Which is also why there were quite a large number of people present - taking selfies, enjoying the view or just jogging through like they would normally.

They were insanely beautiful and golden hour only helped it be a much more outstanding sight!

I thought my dress fit the sakura quite well... so I had to get a matchy-matchy shot!

My own cherry tree is always a late bloomer but as of now it is almost in full bloom.

From bud through rain and sun towards blooming.

This weekend was the Sakura Festival. The weather wasn't very good so we decided to only go on Saturday - slight rain and warmer temperatures than Sunday.
Cute lil' girl in a Totoro kigu.

Marie stopped by after an eternity in Norway - it was so nice to see her again but sadly too brief an encounter.

The hanami was really fun and relaxed. As always I danced the bon odori and it's become one of the highlights of spring for me.

I also made a cherry video feat. recordings from all three locations:

They are just so beautiful - it's hard to not make some tribute to their brilliance!

Audio Visual Relaxation

On the day on Jesus' resurrection my parents took me to Sweden for a spa+lunch combo. It was very relaxing but having a time limit on made it slightly awkward.

I couldn't resist adding these two ladies to my colleciton, when they got cheaper than 50 DKK. Aurora can sing when you twist her hand haha!

Graffitti art that I've walked past what feels like a hundred times. Amalie and I talked for hours at a wine bar starting around midnight on nothing but coke and the hosts found us delightfully weird and ended up giving us some free rounds haha.

The nights are getting warmerrrr. And I've been baking with Gabi!

I watched Kingman: The Secret Service with the family. Mum hid during the bloody scenes and dad was not happy with the violence haha. I absolutely adored it ! Such a nice tempo, great characters and a fun homage to everything Bond-ish.

I've also fallen in love with The 100. It's been a while since I've been this hyped about a show and I give the sci-fi elements and great character development a lot of credit for my excitement!

Curlyyyy.

Warmth is making its' way back to Denmark. I am still stuck under my duvet and taking LUSHed baths far more than I would like but change is in the air - I can feel it.
