Whoever holds this hammer, if he be worthy, shall posses the power of THOR

My braces are off! Goodbye, farewell, auf wiedersehen, adieu, and may I never see you on my teeth ever again!
But I must admit... Even though it is spectacular to be braceless I am actually missing it a little bit. I had so much fun with it - doing my Braceface cosplay for example. But the last 6 months I've had the urge to just rip off the braces myself, so I guess it is all right to be rid of them now.

And it is nice to know I'll celebrate my 18th birthday without metal in my mouth.

I went to the cinema with my Disneys today to watch Thor. One of the girls was able to get us all free tickets, and since Marvel has been bought by Disney we thought it wise to have seen the new Thor movie.

Being a big fan of the Iron Man movies I had looked forward to seeing this movie (seeing as the cliffhanger in Iron Man 2 is Thor's hammer). Also the fact that a lot of my friends had spoken well of the movie ("Loki is amazingly hottttt!") helped to raise my expectations. And I must say that I was disappointed (also concerning Loki's fineness).
The storyline was not really interesting. Sure, the whole theme of "magic/religion is actually just today or tomorrow's science" was wicked - I especially loved the parallel to Einstein's wormholes - but the movie just did not have enough substance as a whole.

But then again. It was equipped with great animations and special effects while the filming was interesting - twisted angles and turns. The humor was splendid. The costume designs and the concept art for Asgard etc. were beautiful. And I simply adore Natalie Portman. Also - as an Nordic citizen, how could I possibly hate a movie about Nordic mythology?
I was well entertained.

And finally today's outfitttt. I'm loving my new pink extensions!!

Bracing success

The weather has been pretty great these days. Sunny and summery temperatures! I bought that dress last week and felt the urge to use it when the weather was basically telling me to be all undressed.

This past week has been crazy though. From Friday and onwards I studied for my mathematics exam, the exam I was dreading like no other. And yesterday, Wednesday, I went to the examination...

And I got a 12!! That's A+/the highest grade possible. Boy, I am so happy. I felt I'd made a lot of mistakes and was counting on a much lower grade. So I was really surprised!
My parents bought me some sunflowers, probably my favourite flower, and a cake in order to celebrate.

Though, I went out with my Disney colleagues instead. So we celebrated this morning.
Doesn't the flowers match Woody wonderfully?

Why did I go out my my Disneys you ask? Because I was in training Monday-Wednesday from 9-6 every day (which just made studying for the exam harder and made me terribly nervous. But I must have done well, despite all the stress in my body) and therefore just stayed together after work.

One of the training days I wore one of my Mickey shirts! A lot of the others wore Disney clothing as well. Haha, showing off our love for our new job!

They had a lot of glitter things laying around. Some was shaped like Mickey, which we all thought was very cool. And at some point during yesterday someone must have put some of the stars in my hair because I found these three in it this morning. I think its remarkable that they're still there after a long night and sleeping...

Take a good look at my mouth. You see the braces in there? Yes. Those are gone now!!!!!!!!!!!

Glassy braces

Hey guys! When I took some photos today I noticed these two being very alike and yet not so very much alike.
I find it pretty damn crazy how much the glasses makes my head look sooo small and how not wearing them really opens up my face! I didn't think it made such a big difference...

As you've probably guessed by now (because I'm wearing another pair of glasses than in my last post) I bought several. In fact I bought three pairs off eBay - they were so cheap! 4 dollars!
I just could not help myself...
I bought them off here. <-- link link!

When my EGG arrived today I was quite surprised... One of their models have braces!! It made me ridiculously happy, haha! I know, lame, but it really did.
Even though I think it's a shame she's wearing the white type - they are made of a material that breaks very easily, so she probably has a lot of troubles with her braces! But since they are white you don't really see them as much as the silver ones... But be happy that you're getting your teeth fixed, honey!

Haha, my braces' colours totally match my earrings! Yellow and turquoise...

Crimesssss

Sunday evening Sascha came by and she'll be leaving in some hours. Monday evening Stella joined us and we watched Coraline, because they hadn't seen it. I was horrified that they hadn't - it's a GREAT movie in my opinion. Really a materpiece! Watch it if you havn't!

In Denmark there's this comedy series called "Crime riders". Uncool guys doing silly crimes like bicycling without hands and being two people on one bike. And we've done a lot of crimes these past days. Talking on the phone in the part of the train where you have to be quiet and stuff like that. Crazyyyy.
Being in the McDonald's play ground where you have to be under 9 years old and take off your shoes! DOUBLE CRIMMEE.
Picture from Sascha.

Monday morning Sørine came and we dressed up in our InuYasha cosplays. Sascha wanted to take a shoot for the danish cosplay magazine Cosmag. It's really an old cosplay - 2 years or something - and it was really wierd wearing it again.
Guess what we did in the leavessssss (if you know, please don't tell)

I went to the dentist today. They said that I was almost ready to get the lower brace off! Happinesssss. But then I have to wear my elastics in triangles that hurts so much. Bittersweet much.

Japan Tripping - Tokyo days 1-3

Soo, we're here. In f*****g Tokyo. I'm sitting here in my hotel yukata on their wireless. Such. A. Wierd. Feeling. Picture time?? ;)

This was in the Metro on our way to the airport. I was calling some friends whom I hadn't talked to for some days to tell them goodbye. And the other picture issss TAKEOFF, hahaha. My dad and I was all excited about that. The beginning of the journey is that moment! I don't get why people clap at the end of the flight, do it at the beginning, man.

Embassy of Denmarrrrk! Yes, I was there. I saw it. Not really a big deal, haha. I liked that the sign said "Royal Embassy of Denmark" though.
First restaurant-meal in Tokyo. We got to the city at midday, but just bought some junk at AM-PM around the corner. I couldn't eat very well in the plane or yesterday, because I went to the dentists some days ago - and yes, the space between my front teeth is now gone. It disappeared in the crazy time span of 3 hours, so my gums were soooo sore and hurting.

My dad and I headed for Shibuya station and went into 109 where I had to escape - I couldn't take all the impression from all around. Usually I'm a very fast shopper, scanning for whatever I like in a shop. But over here I need to scan for what I don't like, which was a bit too much the first day haha.

It was raining like CRAZY. There was so much water in the streets and we got sooo wet ! I can't say we appreciated the air condition at that point - it was so cold after the rain.

Today my mom and I went to 109 and this time my brain was ready to shop serious. After that we sat down at Starbucks and looked down at Shibuya crossing. It's funny, I always thought I'd be so much bigger.

All three of us then went to Harajuku, to the Meiji Shrine. There was a wedding there - of course. I mean, isn't there always, haha?
After the rain yesterday the heath was surprising and kind of unpleasant. There were no clouds to shield us from it either - damn ;)

My dad was all "Liiiiiv, come take a picture with the big headddd!" but I was like "no !". It was pretty cute though.
We went into the SoftBank shop where they had a whole lot of the new iPhones on display - like 30 or so - and we tried it out. My dad gave it a thumbs-down, haha.

Seriously, this isn't even color edited. My eyes hurt when I looked at these for more than 3 seconds. Anyway, I think they're pretty fun.

Foooooood, mmmmhmhmhmhm. Japanese food would make me 10 kg heavier if I didn't walk so much, haha. But I guess all the walking makes up for the extra food I take in.

Tomorrow we'll go to Izu Island, and I don't really know if there's internet there... We'll see!
