Opening the magic

Today was the grand opening of my dear Disney Store here in Copenhagen. We - the cast members - were so excited! A lot of us couldn't sleep last night because of the butterflies in our stomachs, haha. But when the clock neared 11 AM, we were ready to go!

Here I am, in all my retarded "Hi there!"-glory. Wearing a cute Disney Store Mickey-hat. All the guests just had to stroll down the pixie dust path to see the whole store... I so love the magical trees!

So many people showed up! I'd say about 200 around the time of the opening ceremony. And some people had to wait for 45 minutes in line before entering the store... wow! Lucky to be on the inside, haha.
A lot of my friends showed up to see the store - some in their Disney costumes! So awesome. My fellow cast members were thrilled to see them!! They all thought I had such amazing friends, haha.

My nice fellow cast members. Gosh, that Buzz mask is brilliant!

My friend Zozo drew "herself" and so did Jack Skellington and they gave us the drawings. We're going to hang them on our wall in the Cast room! It'll be fabulous.

We're almost like a family in the store already. After 3 weeks of working together. It's great. Really.

Haha, the light in the Theatre is real nice. You seem to have wicked skin colours!

I bought some items today. With my discount! The "Wonder" fragrance for plushies and such, a Tinker-mug, Dumbo plush and three DVDs I used to watch at friends' houses but now just can't live without owning.

Also, I got 12 (A) on my final exam this year! My summer break has officially begun.

Until the very end

Harry Potter is slowly (or more like utterly too quickly) coming to an end. The premiere is so close! It feels months away though. Aaaaand today I went to pick up tickets for the Harry Potter marathon + midnight premiere in Imperial! Me and Stine showed up about an hour before sales started...

We were number 23 in the line-up. At first we waited outside, but then we were let inside the cinema. The sale actually started at 10, but they allowed us to start buying about 20 minutes to 10. It was brilliant! That way no one was able to snatch away the tickets we were to buy!

Jesus, I am flipping right now. Kind of. I seems so unreal.
And yes, I am going to watch it both on the midnight premiere and the actual premiere (for those of you who read on my tickets).

It's so damn difficult to concentrate. I'm having another exam tomorrow, and I really should be reading loads of text just about now. It's just that Potter in way too much on my mind for religion studies...

Salsa + Disney = ??

All of this week was pretty much spent in Disney Store. We say it in the rough Tuesday and started dolling it up thereafter. Now it's all shiny and ready to open! Can't wait for the grand opening...!
But yesterday our dear boss granted us one hour of free time because the Copenhagen Carnival was happening just outside our doors...

So much bare skin, haha! The salsa rythms were very welcomed after 3 days of constant Pirates of the Caribbean soundtrack.

Loved the look of the blonde one. Such a beauty!

Look at that child on the left - hahaha, that expression made my day!

These guys were sweating so much... it was really warm which was perfect for the "nudes" but not so much for there Aztec-themed people...

Roman-guy is brilliant.

I can still hear the beat!! It was very fun to look at and a nice break from Disney world.

I am now headed to the cinema to watch Pirates 4 with my mom. I am actually looking forward to it!

Pottery Disney

So... On the 26th of May I went to my favourite "I sell you foreign magazines!"-store, but they didn't have the new Empire. Then I went to the other two stores I know to sell those alieeen magazines and at the last place they told me they wouldn't receive Empire until the beginning of June. Which brought me the blues, because I was seriously excited about it - it does include a 36 PAGES LONG HARRY POTTER EXTRA.

Yes, that is the one you see on the left.

But well, I finally bought it yesterday - that's when it hit the stores in Denmark. I'm not nearly done reading, but gosh I love it. Worth every penny! (as always with Empire, but this time a little more.)

Also. Today I went to see the Disney Store for the first time. We were all supposed to stay outside and wait for our managers to come out and fetch us. So while waiting we took a group photo! Even though we're missing some people, I really love it.

We were sneaking a peak through the spaces between the doors, tihi! And then we had to line up and close our eyes... because we all had to open up our eyes simultaneously and experience the Disney (Store) magic together. It was really great.

The Store looks so good, even from the outside! That whiteness... And no, the blue cover is not permanent.

Whoever holds this hammer, if he be worthy, shall posses the power of THOR

My braces are off! Goodbye, farewell, auf wiedersehen, adieu, and may I never see you on my teeth ever again!
But I must admit... Even though it is spectacular to be braceless I am actually missing it a little bit. I had so much fun with it - doing my Braceface cosplay for example. But the last 6 months I've had the urge to just rip off the braces myself, so I guess it is all right to be rid of them now.

And it is nice to know I'll celebrate my 18th birthday without metal in my mouth.

I went to the cinema with my Disneys today to watch Thor. One of the girls was able to get us all free tickets, and since Marvel has been bought by Disney we thought it wise to have seen the new Thor movie.

Being a big fan of the Iron Man movies I had looked forward to seeing this movie (seeing as the cliffhanger in Iron Man 2 is Thor's hammer). Also the fact that a lot of my friends had spoken well of the movie ("Loki is amazingly hottttt!") helped to raise my expectations. And I must say that I was disappointed (also concerning Loki's fineness).
The storyline was not really interesting. Sure, the whole theme of "magic/religion is actually just today or tomorrow's science" was wicked - I especially loved the parallel to Einstein's wormholes - but the movie just did not have enough substance as a whole.

But then again. It was equipped with great animations and special effects while the filming was interesting - twisted angles and turns. The humor was splendid. The costume designs and the concept art for Asgard etc. were beautiful. And I simply adore Natalie Portman. Also - as an Nordic citizen, how could I possibly hate a movie about Nordic mythology?
I was well entertained.

And finally today's outfitttt. I'm loving my new pink extensions!!

Bracing success

The weather has been pretty great these days. Sunny and summery temperatures! I bought that dress last week and felt the urge to use it when the weather was basically telling me to be all undressed.

This past week has been crazy though. From Friday and onwards I studied for my mathematics exam, the exam I was dreading like no other. And yesterday, Wednesday, I went to the examination...

And I got a 12!! That's A+/the highest grade possible. Boy, I am so happy. I felt I'd made a lot of mistakes and was counting on a much lower grade. So I was really surprised!
My parents bought me some sunflowers, probably my favourite flower, and a cake in order to celebrate.

Though, I went out with my Disney colleagues instead. So we celebrated this morning.
Doesn't the flowers match Woody wonderfully?

Why did I go out my my Disneys you ask? Because I was in training Monday-Wednesday from 9-6 every day (which just made studying for the exam harder and made me terribly nervous. But I must have done well, despite all the stress in my body) and therefore just stayed together after work.

One of the training days I wore one of my Mickey shirts! A lot of the others wore Disney clothing as well. Haha, showing off our love for our new job!

They had a lot of glitter things laying around. Some was shaped like Mickey, which we all thought was very cool. And at some point during yesterday someone must have put some of the stars in my hair because I found these three in it this morning. I think its remarkable that they're still there after a long night and sleeping...

Take a good look at my mouth. You see the braces in there? Yes. Those are gone now!!!!!!!!!!!
