Eventful Easter

Friday druing the Easter break the National Museum held a NatNight to launch the new exhibition about cosplay there. I donned my Ponyo cosplay for the first time in years and went. Jesper Guldbrandsen took the two middle pictures. There were so many people there but it was quite dull. We changed, Amalie begged to take purikura and then we went out for a water pipe, drinks and dancing. That was super fun!

I also participated in a Disney quiz with my co-wotkers. Naturally we won first price but we didn't actually place 2nd or 3rd with our other groups haha!

Rasmus' cat has suddenly warmed up to me after years and I am immensely chuffed about that recent development. ALSO, the dear couple from Jutland surprised me at work - felt like ages and we only spent a short while together. Parting is such sweet sorrow!

The next Friday Copenhagen Games hosted a cosplay competition. I decided to wear Elastigirl since it dawned on me that I have worn it a lot but actually never been judged by a panel with it. It was fun enough but always weird to wear a costumes around a group not normally affiliated with cosplaying.

And I drove to the event. In almost full cosplay. With my glasses like that.

I won an honourable mention which was cool - my costume is so simple that I wouldn't have thought I'd get anything.

And Saturday after work Jonas asked me if I wanted to join him in ZOO during their Earth Hour event. It had been years and it was fun to see the animals either sleeping or being more active than during the day.

Easter Slipper

Easter break came so quick this year. I feel like it was only just Christmas! Time for sweets and relaxing with friends and getting your shit together before finals season kickstarts.
The last few weeks I've talked for hours with Aybike...

Hung out with dear Afnan and she put henna on me (! been ages!) ...

Chilled with the CBS crew with amazing xmassy food and pancakes...
PLUS I've been reading The Maze Runner like crazy. I am now on book 3 and Newt has broken me a lil' bit.

The squirrels are being a bit less shy atm. So I get to see them almost every day!

Heavy liner looks great... but this one smudges quite a bit grrr. Such high maintenance!!

Wow, take a look at that fancy free ticket - IN COLOUR. That's a first haha. Cinderella was breathtakingly beautiful and super sugar-coated and sweet - so naturally it was a hit. It reminded me of what's said about The Labyrinth and their designers: "When in doubt, add more glitter!" In Cindy's case it was just Swarowski stones.
Dear Blanchett was a joy to watch and I appreciated the fact that they tried to give Kit some personality even if the result was a pretty awkward prince.
We all wore the Store's very FITTING (haha, punny) badges for the occasion and I donned my Cindy tee.

Golden Treats

Life has been weird since this new year started. I don't have a lot of interest in the courses being taught this semester and I'm super low-energy. But I've become good at using my pick-me-ups to turn the sour days sweet!

I've attended a few test screenings. Mortdecai was funny enough but what I loved to watch was The Shamer's Daughter. The book has been such a big part of my childhood and I remember reading in the newspaper that Universal or someone had bought the rights soooo many years ago. But it never happened... and now the Danes produced one for ourselves! It was good to see it in Danish - it would have been far to odd to suddenly have an English Dina.... They did a great job with the adaption but it was super surreal seeing the film.

I attended the CBS girls' party at their new crib! Tiny flat + lots of people = humid.

We held a reunion dinner with my high school ! Four of our old teachers even came. It was such a nice time and we had a great turn-out.
I've eaten way too much delicious foods lately... I really love crêpes.

We got free tickets from Disney when Big Hero finally hit theatres all over the nation. Jesus that took a while... So I went and saw it in English for the first time. And met a friendly droid!

Silly 3-D ad just by the Store.

Golden hour shone so brightly for the first time in forever that I just had to snap some photos. I started playing with the light and the duality of my eyes and face.

It was really fun! I adore the second in the middle!!
These are, as always, completely unedited fyi.

A gorgeous new addition to my 50s wardrobe. The colour is most like the photo on the right. It's really a brilliant dress - my hair just goes a littel too well with the shade haha.
