Have yourself a dancing little Christmas

I finished my final exam in good time even though I had a lot of work that week. And I even got to write about Danish christmas tv-calenders through the years!

After everyone had handed the assignment in some of the students met up at Stefanhus café to enjoy a few hours of relaxing warm-up before 6 weeks of vacation!
Then I went home to dress up fancier, since I was bringing my mum to see The Nutcracker at the Royal Theatre as her Christmas present.

We got to the Theatre in time for the introduction, where they even showed the costumes up close and told stories about the construction - very interesting for a cosplayer haha C:

I always forget how gorgeous the Theatre is.

Our seats weren't that great. I was very sad about that since it was my gift to my mum, but she kept saying it didn't matter all that much. It was just a bit strange to me - I had paid a lot of money and we could only see just about half the stage!

Great costumes, but the scenography was not as pretty as Sleeping Beauty last year.

My favourite part of the ballet was the snowflakes' dance - the dance was very fluid and the look of the stage was stellar!

Saturday we finally had time to decorate our Christmas tree!
Rasmus and Emilie came over and Sunday I visited Rikke. It was amazing to finally get together with some friends after cramming for weeks!

After work Monday I rushed to the station to grab a train up north to the family.

This year Copenhagen was being silly and hadn't put on the Town Hall Christmas tree before December. I was glad to pass it on my busy way. I caught an express train and made it to dinner with my uncle and aunt.

My uncle's a baker and had me stuffing myself with all the delicious things he'd made. On the 24th he even woke us to a breakfast table filled with freshly baked warm croissants and other pastries.

Santa came by and I dressed up nicely for the family dinner.

Fun fact: I have never ever found the almond in the risengrød.

But I am pretty much always in luck when it comes to the parcel game. Won 3 again! Two of them I gave to my aunt though haha. And I got new blinking Christmas tree earrings!

Other gifts included a slamming new suitcase, books for uni, year 2014 Mucha artwork calender and Black Milk clothes !! I've been dying over that C3PO bathing suit for years now haha.. And my dad waved his magic wand and faked an EMPIRE cover feat. me.
