Last week my mum took me to see the cherry blossoms in full bloom at Bispebjerg Kirkegård (cemetery). They have caused an uproar on social medie, mostly instagram, under the tag #sakuraweekcph. It's exploded! Which is also why there were quite a large number of people present - taking selfies, enjoying the view or just jogging through like they would normally.
They were insanely beautiful and golden hour only helped it be a much more outstanding sight!
I thought my dress fit the sakura quite well... so I had to get a matchy-matchy shot!
My own cherry tree is always a late bloomer but as of now it is almost in full bloom.
From bud through rain and sun towards blooming.
This weekend was the Sakura Festival. The weather wasn't very good so we decided to only go on Saturday - slight rain and warmer temperatures than Sunday.

Marie stopped by after an eternity in Norway - it was so nice to see her again but sadly too brief an encounter.
The hanami was really fun and relaxed. As always I danced the bon odori and it's become one of the highlights of spring for me.
I also made a cherry video feat. recordings from all three locations:
They are just so beautiful - it's hard to not make some tribute to their brilliance!
