Original food

Louise asked me out for an Italian sandwich. Let me tell you - they were amazingly tasty! It had been some weeks since I saw her last, so it was nice to chat again.

Outfittttt.
We met up in the train and just started laughing immediately. Because we were both wearing those black fake-glasses, haha. Kind of embarrassing.

Then I asked her to join me and my parents at Louisiana, a museum of modern art just outside of Copenhagen.
They are having a Picasso exhibition at the moment and it has already broken all their visitor records! So we thought we'd go as well. But I must admit I found the free chocolate samples more interesting.

I'm not really a Picasso girl. His art is fine but he's not even nearly my fave artist.
We were sort of having this joke about unoriginal names all day long - for restaurants, shops etc. And Picasso wasn't really a man of extraordinary titles.
Behold Cat and Lobster (my first guess was Lobster and Cat, which of course is wrong)!

Barcelona, Barcelona, Barcelona has past

It's weird that it's already been a week since it was the last night in Barcelona.

You might wonder why I'm wearing a scarf like that. It was my April's Fools' Day's prank. Me and a fellow classmate wore them and told everyone we had been converted to islam. We were worried it might provoke some people, but the muslims in my class kept saying that it was really okay. So I'm hoping!
... It was pretty fun seeing myself in a scarf though.

But of course we all went shopping on this trip. A lot too. And before you all start telling me that I bought TOO much, I'd just like to say that the other girls bought more! Not that it makes it any better...

Jewelery and nail polish from Claire's and Bijou Brigitte.
Apparently the sale period had just ended. All the stores had some sale items left, but it wasn't a lot. Still - I got a whole lot of the things I bought for a lower price.

Three (semi)long-sleeved shirts and three tees/tanks. And then one gorgeous dress and a pair of shorts.
Seriously, I'm loving that dress!

And to end this post is one of the cool things we found on the Cosmo Caixa experimental museum. It was dizzy-making.

Barcelona, Barcelona, Barcelona part 3

Of couse we also visited the Sagrada Familia. We're tourists after all.
Last time I was in Barcelona we saw the work-in-progress too and they were far from finished on the inside. Some of my classmates who'd been in Barce last year told the same tale. So we were all SO surprised to see it finished and shiny and incredibly brilliant in there this time around!

I must admit that it was one of the greatest experiences of the trip. Also because we arrived at a time where there weren't all that many people in there yet. Absolutely perfect!
... And then we took out our calculators and started talking about geometry, calculating functions in 3D.

We came across a huge stand with these city bikes and we all jumped on and started biking away. Only problem was that we couldn't get them separated from the stands. But because of our obvious enthusiasm my teachers decided to rent some bikes for us.

We biked around the beach area which was sooo great! We sang all kinds of danish oldies-but-goldies and childhood songs. It was fun with fun on top.
And then we had to go all the way up to the summit of Mont Juic, the mountain you can spot between the arches in the first picture above.

It was a looooong way up - took us about 2 hours to reach the top.
I was done for, alongside a lot of the others. So some of us had to eat three ice creams in a row to power-up. (I wouldn't recommend the Magic Stars ice cream to anybody.)

But then again, we felt like we had just conquered the world, haha! It felt really good to have used you body too!
And then we took out our sextants and were mathematics geeks once again.

We swung by the Olympic Stadium while we were on Mont Juic as well. It was really fun to see, because I've seen the one in Athens as well!

They had Dunkin' Donuts in Barcelona too! Only... they were called Dunkin' Coffee - weiiird!

Delicious food is delicious. Meet my all-time favourite dessert - chocolate cake with liquid filling.

Barcelona, Barcelona, Barcelona part 2

One of my favourite places in Barcelona from this trip was the Industrial Park in Sants. It was a mix between old and new and playful at the same time.

If we'd had the time I would so have stayed in the sun on one of those stairs. Sadly we were on a kind of tight schedule - we had to do a lot of school stuff the first 4 days.

The weather was amazing! So much sun! Only a few selected from my class had brought sunglasses so about 20 of us ran about wearing the same sunglasses - just in different colours - bought straight off the Rambla, haha.
Uuuhm, pasta <3

I kind of loved this sunglases-trick we came up with. In the first picture you can see yours truly and in the picture above our history teacher's fave church.
Of course we had to eat tapas one of the nights. It wasn't the best, but what can you ask for when we have to be an entire class together at one restaurant?

Cheese <3
I wore one of those pedometers to keep track of how many steps I made during the trip. These are the numbers from Tuesday. 11,5 km is not bad at all!

Barcelona feat. Disney (part 1.5?)

Okay, so I've returned from Barcelona! But before making a/some post(s) about my trip, I seriously need to tell you all something.

This Monday I received a call from the Disney Store manager. Aaaand.... I GOT THE FRIGGING JOB! I was dancing while talking to her and after the call I just jumped around, squealing, out of pure happiness. My classmates thought I was crazy, haha, but also cute.

Wednesday we passed by a Disney Store by coincidence. That was where I understood that I'd be working in such a place soon. But I've only just started to fully comprehend it today after my arrival home.

This was taken while I got the jobbbbb. My legs were shaking.

The store Copenhagen will host will be an imagination store!

Barcelona, Barcelona, Barcelona part 1

I went to Kastrup Airport this Monday. At 4 AM. Yes, you heard correctly. Damn, I was tired!! We all looked liked crap, haha.
But by the time we landed in Barcelona we were all very energic because of the excitement.

We went on a little walk-around-town in the afternoon, led by our history teacher. He tried to get some serious knowledge into our heads, but I don't really know how much will stay there...

Did you know? That rose window is the biggest in the worrrrrld! Yes, that kind of stuff is what we learn.

My oh-so-very-cute classmates! Some Napoleon and a really large sum of scissors .

Is there some Spanish tradition of hanging shoes by the lanters?? Inform me if you know! ;D

It's really fun being here with the whole class! We're getting to know each other so much better!
I hope you're all having a great time too, no matter what you're doing.
